activities that are both spiritual and a lot of fun. Eight Days of
Hanukkah are eight different experiences. However, thoughtful planning
is necessary to ensure full-fledged enjoyment throughout the festival.
So, plan how to spend your holidays in a nice way and enjoy to the
fullest! Here are some interesting activities that you may do during the
eight days of Chanukkah.
- Lighting of the significant Menorah officially starts on the
first night of Hanukkah. This is the best time to teach your
children the traditional Hanukkah blessings and Hanukkah songs. Pick
some familiar tunes for the songs so that children can easily learn
and memorize the Chanukkah songs.
- Buy some wooden dreidels and decorate them using glitters and
felt. Paint them and play with the 'personalized dreidel' with your
children. Playing the dreidel game with your children is a great
time pass! You may also use the wooden dreidels to decorate your
home.
- Make Hanukkah crafts such as medium sized Star of the David,
paper box for storing Hanukkah gifts etc. Hanukkah crafts are easy

look for some Hanukkah crafts that can be made during the Hanukkah
nights.
- Show your culinary expertise. Prepare and serve the traditional
foods of Hanukkah. Ask others to join in your cooking. Too many

- Narrate story of the Miracle of Oil and Judah Maccabee's victory
over the Greek soldiers to the little ones. This way, they will be
acquainted with the story behind the establishment of Hanukkah.
